IoT Based Home Automation

Abstract

IoT based home automation systems are growing rapidly due to increased demand for smarter devices and systems,reduced installation costs, system scalability,easy extension, and integration of mobile devices. Under IOT based Home automation, two projects have been prototyped, tested and verified they are Smart Gardening system and Smart Water Management System. Smart Gardening System:This project deals with automating sprinklers and lamps.This can be done from a touch screen mounted on the system as well as from a remote location. Android application has been developed to gain access through mobile devices. SmartWater Management System:This project deals design, development, and testing of Smart water management. This system is designed to monitor water levels inside the water tank, control the valve and monitor water usage.Android application has been developed to gain mobile access through mobile devices.This system can be incorporated in homes as well as buildings and industries.
