dc.description.abstractMuscular damage and tissues tearing problems are increasing in people, mostly in old ages. The tissues and muscles which includes fat and bones are facing dif- ferent disorders including joints, muscles and even skin problems. To overcome this problems newer and faster methods are being developed for curing among which Trans-cutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation (T.E.N.S.) and Cold Level Light Am- pli cation by Stimulated Emission of Radiation (LASER) Therapy are being used in the Muscular Treatment Device. T.E.N.S. current is used for pain relief where as the LASER therapy is used for repairing muscles and tissues. The Muscular Treat- ment device provides T.E.N.S. current by a pair of electrodes and LASER therapy is provided using a nano-meter laser. Both the treatment are provided directly to the skin using a electrode gel. There are two di erent arms available in the device. One arm is used to cover small regions which includes arms and shoulders and the other arm is used for larger areas like back and chest. The only di erence between both the arm is the size of electrodes which is larger in one arm (used for larger areas) and in one arm it is smaller (used for smaller areas). The LASER present in both the arms has the same maximum intensity which is in few milli-ampere which is lesser than the maximum current human body can withstand. The intensity of the current passing through the electrode can be changed using the rotary encoder. The time for one treatment is set to 15 minutes which can be changed and the time is displayed on seven segment display. There are modes in which only LASER or only electrodes is being turned ON. The device is a palm sized device and can be carried easily as it runs on 3.7V battery power.en_US
