dc.description.abstract | Circuit breaker is an electro-magnetic safety device which protects against overload, short-circuit and ground fault. Air circuit breaker is a kind of circuit breaker, which generally operate in a low voltage range and current range of 400A-6300A.Presently, LT is manufacturing the AC air circuit breaker based on different breaking capacities and current rating. Due to competitive market, and DC application they are planning to design the DC air circuit breaker So, identification of changes required to be done on AC Circuit Breaker for the operation of DC circuit breaker are to be analyse.
