dc.description.abstract | With the emerging era of technology, cloud has come-up as one of the most used platform. Moving to cloud has its several advantages like resources sharing, cost-effectiveness, platform independence and many more. Oracle cloud is one of the major cloud platform that provides cloud solution for various platforms (IAAS, SAAS, PAAS) across the globe. RPAS is one of the retail platform server used for planning. RPAS-FC is a web-based rich client for the RPAS platform developed using ADF. RPAS is now moving to the cloud edition for RPAS developed using web-services. An overview about the real time advantages and disadvantages of moving an existing application to the cloud is covered in this thesis. It also provide detail architectures, main contributions, trends, challenges, gaps and possible research solutions provided in same direction. | en_US |
