Fly ash which is a solid waste from thermal power plant and process industries is causing a huge air pollution. Management of this solid waste has become the major challenge for the control of the environment. In 21st century the focus is for the issues like global warming, environmental changes, land pollution, water pollution, air pollution, increased toxic gases, seasonal cyclic disturbance and other suspended particles in atmosphere, other unwanted elements which will directly affect living organisms and human being. In the resent past, attention is paid to find the effective way to utilize industrial waste like y ash in the building sector. In this project, attempt is made to develop low cost automatic y ash brick manu- facturing machine which can full fill requirement of growing Indian population. This machine consists main frame, material handling equipment, conveying belt, Feeder, Pan Mixer, punch, mould, hydraulic system, etc. In this work, design and finite ele- ment analysis of supporting structure, mould box, moulding and demoulding punch, punch plates etc is discussed. The machine is designed on the basis of mechanical design concept and validation is done using finite element analysis.en_US
