In the Era of automation and mass production the process equipments become key components and their design and analysis are essential. As this equipments are high on demand it is necessary to increase the production and optimize material to achieve time and target. In order to optimize the thickness of plates , to impart equal strength and corrosion resistance Electro slag strip cladding (ESSC) is most popular process now a days which helps in increasing strength which reduces weight and cost of the components. It is necessary to automize ESSC to have uniformity in cladding and to meet the target. The major objective is to automize the cladding process for shell of diameter 2700- 3000mm to increase the productivity. To reduce the laborious work of manual cladding and to achieve fast uniform process the first task is to indentify number of options to convert manual process to automatic cladding. In order to achieve required task three designed were introduced and analysed to achieve the motion characteristic. All three conceptual design were modeled and analysed in software. After deep brainstorming the most appropriate conceptual design is selected. Selected designed is further reanalysed and validated with simulation, the results of which are found within desirable limit and results where found within the safe limit and all were satisfying the required criteria.. Software such as Solid Edge ST-6, SIEMEN NX and ABAQUS are used.en_US
