Abstract: Packaged drinking water industry have seen a good growth in last few years due to a new concept of giving mass quantity of water in reasonable price. So, to serve the purpose of giving mass quantity at reasonable amount, specially designed water containers are introduced which have capacity of storing 20 Litres of water. KHS Machinery Pvt Ltd is a German based very reputed organisation for its highly optimised and highly automated designs and one of the leading organisation in the field of filling and packaging industry. Organisation have wide span of product range which covers washer machine for glass bottle, small PET bottle and 20L water containers. Various conventional methodologies are available in conventional washing machine for 20L water containers. Despite of having good popularity there is still lacking in enhanced, automated and optimised methodology for washing of these water containers. An attempt is made in this project to design the washer machine considering various quality aspect of cleaning and hygiene. This development is very systematic, methodological and highly synchronised. New concepts are developed to counter difficulties that were faced during washing. Washing quality has been improved by eliminating all type of dirtying elements with highly synchronised integrated methodology. Utilisation of nozzle and placement of them is done in a way that large area of container is covered which was difficult by conventional washing. Reduction of water consumption is done by optimum reuse of water and methodological arrangement of stages.
