Abstract: | This dissertation work focuses on performing vibration analysis to find dynamic stress and deflection of the fluidization reactor. Reactor which consists of many vertical and horizontal stacks, ladder, platforms. While designing reactor of petrochemical refineries, it is essential to consider vibration characteristics into account. A fluidization system running at high temperature and pressure close to the natural frequency of the system results in excessive deformation and large stresses which leads to catastrophic failure of the system. An effort has been made in carrying out a feasibility study of fluidization reactor's dynamic behaviour like dynamic stresses and displacement of the structure to determine to estimate the stresses and deformation using well established theoretical method and by performing the FEA (Finite Element Analysis). FEA is performed when the reactor in operating condition and non-operating condition and important conclusions are drawn based on the results. |
