The WLAN (Wireless local area network) has continuously been under development due to the increasing demand. This report describes the basic fundamentals and IEEE specifications of the 802.11 standard.Complete Transmitter architectures is divided into sub parts and explained with simulations in MATLAB and ADS (Advanced Design system).WLAN OFDM modulated waveform i.e. the output of Transmitter is simulated in MATLAB. Introduction to Testing Environment and Various techniques used to test WLAN chips used in mobile phones, laptops and other smart devices to test the TX performance parameters of the chip are explained .en_US
