Abstract: Now a days wind power generation is increasing into power system, it is needed to analyze its effect on power system. In the power system, there are many stability issue so, that stability analysis is required. Small Signal Stability is one of the important issue of the electrical power system which can down the power system performance under such a condition. So, it is required to analyze if the system is stable or unstable. The aim of this work is to find out whether the system is stable or unstable by using various small signal stability analysis methods. In this work first step is to do the mathematical modelling of DFIG, turbine, drive train, generator and converters. Eigen value analysis method will be carried out to analyze the small signal behaviour of the test system.
