dc.description.abstractIn today's scenario, renewable sources are widely used to generate electricity. The Solar energy plays a vital role to obtain electricity. The efficiency of solar panel decreases tremendously when dust particle gets deposited on it. In order to maintain efficiency in power generation through the solar panel, regularly cleaning of solar panel is necessary. Out of all the various methods to clean the panels most of the methods are manual only. These methods are not so efficient and require more amount of monotonous work hence, an automatic machine are required to clean the solar panels for large scale solar plants. In this project, the cleaning of panels is achieved by moving brush which rotates horizontally and controlled by the microcontroller. Further, the design of structure is made simple to have minimum cost and easy maintenance of the system. This seems in increasing efficiency of a solar panel by regular cleaning at regular interval of time.en_US
