Abstract: The Injection Moulding is one of the principle methods of conversions of plastics into various end products using a very wide range of plastics materials from commodity plastics to specialty engineering plastics Injection Moulding Machines are rated as per the tonnage force applied. 150 tone Base frame of plastic injection moulding machine is made by using C channel and plate. Base frame table is change by some cross section of Indian standard. Base frame table is change by I-Section, hollow rectangular section T -Section and Hollow Square. For that finite element analysis is performed on various cross section changes in available cross section. Compare and check deformation, stress and strain of base frame table. Also optimize mass of base frame table and reduce cost without compromise of strength of 150 base frame table. With the implementation of the designs mass reduction is maximum 68.29 kg and also reduces deflection and maintains strength of base frame table
