Abstract: | Accurate and reliable time in computer network-based applications is now an important necessity. Time synchronization concept was created to meet this need. Meanwhile, accurate time is so essential in some instances, can use a redundant framework. A time synchronization system is explored in this thesis by developing and applying a time synchronization panel that can synchronize computer network time using NTP (Network Time Protocol). To provide more reliability, a redun- dant system is also integrated in this work. A network time server synchronizes its local clock to a normal reference time source and distributes time data through a usual time synchronization protocol to obtain, maintain accurate time. As a standard reference time source, A system utilizes GPS (Global Positioning System) and provides UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) through the NTP (Network Time Protocol). The outcomes of implementation and assessment of performance are also provided.Four VLANs can be developed in two distinct port ETH0 and ETH1 in Redundant GPS Time Server and have two static IPs as well. The objective of generating VLAN Schematic and PCB fiber optic card design as well as developing redundant energy distribution module for the same system GPS Time Server using Orcad PCB Editor tool. Ublox Max 6Q receiver module testing and evaluation and exploration ucentre software. This module supplied for the GNSS system and to get accurate altitude and longitude. |
