Abstract: With the biggest problem in post-silicon verification of silicon-chip is, it will take more time to manufacture because of its complex design. Due to the design complexity, it is difficult to detect bugs. If bugs are detected in the later stages of the verification process then the development team needs to start execution from scratch and that leads to high-risk factor. To overcome this problem shift left strategy is applied to the existing approach. Apply- ing shift-left strategy with automation will automate the various software workloads and benchmark on simulated hardware. The intention of test automation on Pre-silicon envi- ronment will reduce the time factor of environment setup and execution of the workloads. In this paper, Simics tool is used for providing a virtual platform. The aim of pre-silicon is to verify and validate the correctness of chip before the power on. Cross-platform automation can be to increase efficiency and performance. Continuous integration is a process in which development work is integrated into early stages. The resulting artifacts are automatically created and tested. This process allows for identifying errors as early as possible.
