A truck loader is a device used to load cement bags in truck trailer. It consists of series of two conveyor belts. Current system includes two workers loading the truck with cement bags manually while standing inside of a truck trailer. The two belts of truck loader are called as loading belt and a travelling belt, where travelling belt travels back and forth and loading belt rotates right-left inside the truck trailer. Loading belt also moves up and down by luffing motor. While loading cement bags, inside of a truck is very dusty area, which troubles workers. So automation is to be implemented such that only one worker is required to load cement bags in truck, and loading is done accurately. A roller is attached at the end of the loading belt for properly landing the bag for stacking. Two guide plates are attached at the end of loading belt to guide the cement bags straight. A parallelogram four bar mechanism is used to keep the guide plates straight at the end of loading belt. An alternate sliding system is also developed for stacking. A simple sliding chute is designed and tested which places the bag gently in straight orientation. Conceptual design is prepared for motor attachment to move the loading belt left and right.en_US
