Abstract: Cryostat is cylindrical vessel which is divided into four major parts and this four parts further divided into the angular section for manufacturing and transportation feasibility. Section of cryostat has to match with the coordinates of tokamak pit in radial and toroidal direction. A tool is required to align this section of cryostat. In this dissertation alignment tool are designed for the upper cylinder. This tool having various components. They are validate by performing static structural analysis. Also validation of LC and UC due to alignment activity is included in the project. Toplid sector lifting comprises of concept design of lifting scheme and its lifting analysis. It also included validation of lifting beam and lifting lug. Similarly UC T2 sectors lifting scheme is having concept design of lifting scheme, spreader beam design, lifting lug design. Lifting analysis of all components with UC T2 is carried out in this project. For validation of Lifting adapter of LC section lifting load test unit is designed. Its static structural analysis is performed for validation of load test unit. All the modelling has been done in the CATIA software. For analysis part meshing is done in HYPERMESH and analysis is carried in ANSYS. Alignment and support jack as well as bolt calculation has been carried out in this report.
