Abstract: In today’s scenario, Fiber Reinforced plastic (FRP) have been used in wide range of applications. With the increase of applications of FRP, disposal of waste has become a more and more important problem. The landfill is now restricted in many developed countries. So, incineration of the Fiber Reinforced Plastic (FRP) material waste is the alternate option to reduce volume of the waste. According to industrial requirement, the different components of the burning system of FRP waste are designed and developed in this dissertation. Parameters of furnace like dimensions, heat and fuel requirement are calculated. The heat exchanger is developed to optimize design and efficiency for the burning system. Different cyclone models are designed and flow analysis is carried out in ANSYS Fluent with different parameters like velocity and barrel diameter of cyclone to study the dust collection efficiency. The venturi scrubber is also developed by studying the flow pattern of the flue gases.
