dc.description.abstractObjective of this project is to understand, implement and validate the SIMATIC IT Preactor software by using shop floor on line data and generating various reports. Also aim of this project is to understand the use of Adavnce Planning and Scheduling system in manufacturing planning and control processes. SIMATIC IT Preactor is An Advanced planning and scheduling software which is developed by Siemens PLM software. In today’s scenario, any organization’s success depends upon how well they plan and schedule. After fully deployment of the SIMATIC IT Preactor software for Planning and Scheduling activities, the plant will get benefits such as increase in ontime delivery, reduction in Work in process inventory, allocation of the appropriate manpower and machineries and the increase in overall productivity. The overall cost of manufacturing also reduced. In this project challenge is to make company digitalized and timesaving operation. This will help organization to fully control over the manufacturing process.en_US
