Abstract: In this project, analysis is carried out on ROTO MIXER COOLER to reduce the time of mixing and power consumption. Mixer cooler is equipped with slow and fast tools to do the mixing. Slow tool blade have angle while fast tool blade is flat. According to studies blade which is flat they did not create any lift force. But blade which is heaving an angle is creating the lift force in mixer. Tool blade angle affects the mixing time and power consumption. The various forces acting on fast tool blade are calculated analytically. The friction and axial force acting on flat blade is higher as compare angular blade which reduces the life time of the blade. Fast tool modeling is carried out in design software creo parametric. Pressure acting on blade and torque of the shaft is found in Ansys workbench software. The torque acting on flat blade is 39% higher as compare to angular blade. Power consumption for 45 degree blade is 40% less as compare to flat blade
