Abstract: This project is to design and implement Modular Instrumentation and Control as well as Data Acquisition System (DAQ’s) by using serial RS-232,RS485 communication protocols. Embedded Linux OS offers a single chip solution with processor, peripherals such as ADC interface controller, Ethernet controller, memory controller amongst other peripherals. Initiating the DAQ’s allowed to obtain the two signals like analog as well as digital. The DAQ’s transform the signals and sends the data in to PC using the bus like Ethernet. PCB is to be design to perform different sensors on it and develop test routine in C language on arduino based platform. The Field device interface through Linux and physical device calibration is executed from Hart communicator device .Implementation of Application for controlling valve develop on Linux based platform. Developed application is also capable to display data and store it on SD card and logic implement to transfer data automatically in Microsoft Azure for data storage.
