Relay coordination is one of the most crucial processes in the field of protection for power systems. To ensure a proper and healthy system, protection of a particular system should be designed accordingly. The objective is to minimize the value for relay settings; time multiplier setting and plug setting along with maintaining the coordination constraints in the system. Relay coordination will be done by improving the mathematical formulation. Said changes will be tested on different systems. Also obtained results will be compared with two optimization techniques.en_US
