The motivation behind this project is to provide mobility from vehicle to sell fruits and vegetables with desired shelf life. The life of produces is preserved with a solar operated evaporative cooling chamber. The thesis presents works on design, analysis and manufacturing of stainless steel chamber which will be used for storing fruits and vegetables after post-harvesting, and further it will going to be installed on mini truck. The aim of this work is to design detailed model in Solidworks 3D-modelling software and then it will be finalized using structural analysis by Ansys 18.0 and with STAAD.PRO. Moreover, in the design there are three concepts are introduced to carry out maximum crate’s capacity within the chamber. By the use of ANSYS 18.0 workbench, the behavior of the structure under various conditions such as deflection and stress value of frame is carried out under static structure, numerous mode shapes under Modal analysis followed with harmonic response. STAAD.PRO is a structural analytical software use to perform static and dynamic analysis in order to determine under which conditions the same optimum profile can be applied to a structure at different roofs and columns using IS 800:2007 Code. After evaluation the overall mass of entire structure is determined using Microsoft Excel sheet under payload of vehicle. In the end, manufacturing has been done in industry where the entire chamber is fabricated using different manufacturing processes. At before manufacturing the necessary task is to study the types of welding sequence used for frame and sheets to avoid any excessive distortion and deflection.en_US
