In today's scenario, every product can work stand-alone, but it can be more effective with the help of automated accessories. Automated accessories ease the use of product and also help in achieving product automation. Motorized Operator is the one of the accessories of MCCB. Motorized Operator is device mounted on MCCB and make the operation remote controlled which helps in achieving customer satisfaction. In this project modifications are done in the motorized operator by increasing Gear Ratio to operate at low voltage band of the order of 170V. Changes in gear material have been recommended which results into lower cost of the product. Furthermore product redesigns have been suggested by proposing alternate Latch mechanism, Main mechanism and Hinge-Out mechanism. Here the challenge is to make the motorized operator more reliable and enhanced quality while operating with MCCB.en_US
