The use of fixtures and welding stations has become very essential in manufacturing industries, it order to achieve higher safety and higher productivity rate with good quality in an optimized way. Repetitive and complex tasks can be done using fixtures and welding stations very precisely. The objective of present work 1) Design and analysis of special purpose fixtures for assembly line of pressure vessel manufacturing process. 2) Design and analysis of special purpose welding stations for assembly line of pressure vessel manufacturing process. Above mentioned objective can be achieved by replacing existing welded fixtures with removable bolted fixtures and loose panel handling fixture with fully secured mechanism for handling of the panel. In the initial phase, Design and analysis of the special purpose fixtures is done. Manufacturing is done in final phase. Similarly, scaffolding structures is replaced by a proper designed platform for welders. In, final phase, twin scissor lift welding station as to be implemented. Design and analysis of the special purpose welding station is done.en_US
