dc.description.abstract | Nowadays, with automation in technology advancement in mining has become easier and simpler for us. In today’s world economy & daily experience automation has played a very important role. To monitor the activities in mining the use of GPS to communication is much needed in mining vehicles. In the future, there will also come a technology where the vehicles will be operated automatically with just locating paths on GPS. This project describes the design of the GPS mast structure. The GPS should be mounted on the top-most point of mining vehicles. While at the time of servicing and breakdown it becomes a very difficult task for humans to approach that height and it leads to increased risk of life. The goal of this work was to design a GPS mast structure which can be easily serviced, maintained and easily transportable from one location to another at the time of breakdown. The basic idea was to reduce the life-risking possibilities of human beings. The 3D-model of GPS structure and components was prepared in creo parametric 5.0 software with reference to the baseline model. Modal analysis and G-Load analysis are to be performed on ANSYS workbench 19.2 software during the project duration | en_US |
