Abstract: The Cryostat is a huge vessel is manufactured by welding of austenitic steel plates of thickness varies from 50mm to 250mm thick. It is manufactured in different segments, sectors and sub-assemblies. These sector requires fixtures and assembly tools for final building up of the Cryostat. In this dissertation Design and analysis of assembly tool for top lid. Assembly tool design for the activities between Hazira workshops to Tokamak Pit. Lifting Scheme design for the Lifting activities during the manufacturing, site workshop, manufacturing shop, assembled and transportation of the sectors. Lifting Scheme developed for the manufacturing to site workshop actives. Design fixture for purpose of manufacturing and transportation. Fixture design for manufacturing are to inner fixture for the machining operation. Using the manufacturing fixture design outer fixture for transportation to hold sector securely in correct position. Design and validation of transportation frame for assemble all sector and machining operation at site and transport site workshop to Tokamak Pit. For the transportation frame design and validation of support structure, stool location and SPMT Location. Design carried out in CATIA. FEA meshing carried out in Hyper Mesh and simulation carried out in ANSYS.
