The Internet of Things has made its way into many applications over various fields already. Large industries needs to monitor their machinery so that they can provide long term benefits in terms of reduced equipment down time, lower production cost, increased safety and improved reliability. This is the major concern for the industrial manufacturers to keep their equipment operational. One common way of controlling the state-of-health of the equipment is to monitor its vibration signature. A high resolution analog-to-digital converter (ADC) is to be acquired to digitize the analog vibration signal. This will be the key enabler to the arena of predictive maintenance. There are several others vibration sensing techniques but here in my project we have developed an ADC application through which we can convert the analog voltage signal to digital voltage signal, which can be analyzed by continuous monitoring through accelerometer that are mounted on the equipment. Also this ADC application is developed on the RTOS so it is faster and gives results in a quantum seconds. Also the ADC application developed can be used for any other applications for which ADC conversions is required.en_US
