dc.description.abstractA novel strain of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus2 (SARS cov2) has been recently discovered. It affects respiratory tract and has symptoms similar to pneumonia and flu. It was first identified in China and later on became pandemic. It is contagious disease and spreads via cough droplets when a person coughs or sneezes. In many cases there are asymptomatic patients which lead to improved diagnostic techniques. Many allopathy medicines have been identifiedthat helps to fight COVID-19 and on addition to that there are many other systems of medicine that has been used to improve immunity to combat COVID-19. AYUSH - Ayurveda, yoga, unani, siddha, homeopathy these are few systems of medicines that are being used to fight COVID-19.. Ayurveda focuses on improving lifestyle and healthy eating. Yoga has multiple benefits it helps to strengthen our lungs through breathing exercise, also calms our mind and improve blood circulation. Unani system of medicine is generally used in middle east and south Asian countries, it is also known aspseudoscientific system of medicine. Siddha is mostly practiced in south India and is practice of combination of ancient medical practices and spiritual discipline. Homeopathy is a system of medicine that believes that a body can cure itself. This article sums up different aspects of prevention of novel virus COVID-19.en_US
