dc.description.abstractThe project ‘EQUITY RESEARCH ON REAL ESTATE SECTOR’ is on the basis of EIC model. The Economic analysis includes a country’s economic analysis. The Industry analysis includes sector analysis based on different aspects such as porter 5 forces, SWOT analysis, government initiatives for the particular sector. The company analysis focuses on company’s management team, its vision, financial analysis. The project work includes valuation of the share prices of the real estate companies like Godrej Properties and Oberoi Realty. The valuation is based on the EIC model where in the prices of the shares are estimated according to the expected growth in the sector and adjusting the shortcomings of the sector. The estimation of Price earning is according to the historical analysis approach wherein the past PE’s have been tracked down and used to value and estimate the company’s future prices of share. The main idea behind conducting equity research is to find out the overall condition and trend of Real Estate sector and to find out promising scripts and Real Estate sector companies to invest .It involves predicting the future prices. The financial analysis includes comparing data in terms of ratio analysis. Various types of valuation ratios have been ascertained. According to the financial analysis & valuation the findings of the study are that ASIAN PAINTS seems to be a better investment than KANSAI NEROLAC. On the valuation analysis part Kansai Nerolac seems Better Avenue to invest.en_US
