Abstract: | The purpose of the paper is to understand the relationship among career beliefs, career selfefficacy, and social support in developing the VUCA skillset among female tourism and hospitality students from generation Z in India. The COVID-19 pandemic is an apt example of the VUCA. Data was collected from 655 female tourism and hospitality students from the northeastern region of India, and analyzed with structural equation modeling. Results reveal that career belief and career self-efficacy values were positively related to social support and explain the variance in social support. However, career belief does not have a significant effect on VUCA. |
