dc.description.abstract | Heavy shell tilting fixture is used for tilting the shell from horizontal to vertical and vice versa. Design and analysis of heavy shell tilting fixture for weight capacity 110 MT has been carried out in this work. Modeling of 3-D components and assembly of tilting fixture have been carried out with the help of Solid Edge ST-2 software. Finite element analysis of fixture and its supporting elements has been carried out using Ideas NX-12 software. | en_US |
