POST (Power-on self-test) activated by BIOS. It runs a series of checks and diagnostics on your mother-board. The POST runs very quickly, Its hard to finds out where actually execution is stopped in which phase or which hardware is faulty or missing in the system if its stops in between. Thats why POST status codes are required which display progress and Error codes while executing the POST. By using these status codes we can track the execution of POST if serial debug log is not available.
