Abstract: effective as far as material cost and power consumption is concerned. The objective of this paper is to describe the methodology for carrying out topology optimization of a textile component with rotating beam configuration in order to save the material using the application of CAE tools. The topology optimization of the Textile component of rotating beam configuration is carried out to reduce the weight with the constraints of standard operating conditions. The new optimized design of the configuration is proposed and validated using CAE tools which is equally strong but light weighted compared to existing configuration. The Textile component of rotating beam configuration is analyzed for operating condition using conventional finite element software (ANSYS) and stresses and deflections are obtained. The topology optimization of the component is carried out using Optistruct solver and reduction in weight about 0.129 kg is obtained.
